Technical Architect Lead
Apply a broad base of technology expertise in the design and definition of a highly flexible, highly efficient, andhighly scaleable product architecture to enable company to exploit new markets domestically andinternationally.
Provide technical guidance to internal and external development team members to maximize their strengths andencourage professional development and application of new skills to meet increasing demands for current andfuture development.
Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends in order to recognize opportunities to advance our technologyand product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Design of product prototypes using a variety of technologies.Analysis of costs, potential profits, risks, and benefits of architectural designs.
Produce creative yet well-grounded projections, specifications, and designs that open market opportunities &continually increase technical efficiencies.
Provide consistent, clear communication to senior management.
Contribute to the development and continuous review of appropriate practices, standards, and guidelines

Skills/Competencies Required:
8+ years in commercial software development, including 4+ years of multi-tier, online architecture design with astrong emphasis on search platforms
Technical lead experience in UNIX/Linux web application development, particularly using open source tools &technologies
Technical background, skills, and vision to be able to understand and enhance our online applicationsPractical reliance on industry standard solutions combined with solid past experience in implementing thosesolutions
Possess strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices and tools- performance management (systems, network, applications, & hardware)- testing automation- integration & configurationRefined problem solving skills including risk analysis and alternative solutions
Strong technical design documentation skills
