You the consultant will work within a project team throughout project life cycle - requirements definition, solution selection, design, testing, training and implementation. This position involves extensive interaction with employees in all functional areas, offices, clients, vendors and business partners.

Essential Job Functions:

o Achieves work objectives by developing systems requirements, functional design, basic systems configuration and implementation support
o Contributes to project success by leading and/or contributing to client update meetings
o Contributes to project development by generating reports and briefing documents
o Contributes to project success by supporting the design and test planning for supply chain execution integration with host ERP systems and material handling control systemso Achieves work objectives by supporting all aspects of systems testing
o Builds client knowledge by assisting in end user training
o Supports client by communicating with vendors regarding budgetary costing and other issues
o Achieves work objectives by performing financial analysis to derive business case information
o Achieves work objectives by supporting software configuration and assisting in modification determination, development, and testing
o Performs organizational development duties by researching and writing articles for publication and preparing and presenting internal projects
o Supports client development by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with potential, current, and former clients
o Contributes to the achievement of company-wide revenue goals by pursuing follow-on projects with current and former clients

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years industry experience inclusive of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) full lifecycle project and/or other top tier supply chain execution systems
  • Working knowledge and industry experience with the Manhattan Associates, RedPrairie, or the HighJump product suites. Experience with Oracle, SAP, Retek, JDA, JD Edwards, ProVia, MARC Global or other top tier WMS solutions will also be considered
  • Competency in SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillso Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively under time constraints
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without close supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (80%)
