Sr. Network Administrator (Cisco)

JOB SUMMARY:
To administer and oversee technical design, implementation, organization and troubleshooting of key business systems. Document and handoff support work to IT technicians as appropriate. Provide proactive management to meet business objectives through both user feedback and internal metrics. Has system wide responsibility on complex projects and components. Effectively contributes to team goals. Provides direction to team members and is a key contributor. May solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects. Assists with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills. Viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization. Provides coaching to junior-level employees.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS - SR. NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR:

Responsibilities: Designs complex LAN and WAN strategies to meet a broad spectrum of business needs. Coordinates implementation, optimization, and operation of LAN / WAN systems including procurement, installation, configuration and management. Provides ongoing information to management, customers, and peers regarding enhancements and innovations.

Technical / functional skills (includes computer skills):
Cisco data networks
Cisco routers/switches
Cisco voice networks
Cisco load balancing
Certifications or licenses: CCNP, CCDP, CCIP, CCSP, CCVP
Minimum of 4 years experience with Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.—relevant experience can take the place of degree.


Paid relocation fully paid relo--pack and move, house hunting trip (no house purchase)
Bonus: 0-20% of base annually. Profit Sharing 401 (k) Plan: Has average approx 15% for each eligible employee Paid every year since 1952. Calculation based on Base plus Bonus.
